In 1982, The Police were at the apex of their fame, embarking on a lengthy tour in support of Ghost In The Machine, released the year prior. Their set in Gateshead of that very tour showcased the band's explosive energy and tight musicianship, as they delivered a set packed with hits that included fan favourites like 'Roxanne', 'Message in a Bottle', and 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic'.
